ELEGIE: JAUNDICE AND LEUCOSIS SYNDROME
Hello Laila. I waited to return from the veterinary surgeon before writing to you. The vet told me that it was almost a miracle to see Elegie free of fever and living a normal life. The results of detailed analyses are not yet in and he still has some doubts, but he is very surprised by the speed with which the cat has recovered after only a few days when he actually expected her death. He thinks that cortisone had a role to play in her recovery, which I do not deny, but I do know that she seemed to recover from the moment that you started to take care of her.
I am extremely grateful to you for your care. No matter what the future holds concerning her illness, she has recovered a pleasant life and that is what counts. It is always difficult to express in words what one feels and what your care implies; it opens us up to realities that are quite different and much richer than those of our daily “drugged” life.
Thank you again and heartfelt kisses.

ISHY: PUNCTURED LUNG
Hi Laila,
Thank you SO much for all of your help, it has been amazing. As you know, our cat Ishy was in critical condition from a dog attack and when I raced him to the vet, they did not know if they could save him. The next day I contacted you for emergency healing for him. Over the next 6 days his recovery was remarkable! When I took him to our vet for a follow-up chest scan 1 week after the attack she could not believe it was the same cat. All the air in his chest cavity from hispunctured lung was gone and she said that she could no longer even see the puncture to his lung in the x-ray. His healing has been so rapid.
It has now been 2 weeks since the incident and you would never know that he just suffered a life-threatening injury, he is back to his old self 100%. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to save our beloved cat!

IRIS: DOES NOT EAT and QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT EUTHANASIA
Hi Laila. I wanted to thank you for your help with my little Iris. We did not go to the veterinarian, because when we received your reply, she had become her old self and my mother appreciates every instance of this recovery to cherish her even more. She is once again affectionate in the morning on the bed, shows her claws and even plays. Thanks again to you and the doctors in the sky. Cordially,

PEPPER AND SALT: PANCREATIS
Pepper and Salt is well. He once again follows his habit of breaking open the packets of rissoles himself. They taste better that way! Once in a while he caresses me at night which he doesn’t usually do. I find him cuddling up close to me. It is really nice.
See you soon.

MAYA: UNDETERMINED VIRAL ATTACK
Maya is 12. One morning, beginning June, I found her in a terrible state. I went right away to the emergencies at the veterinarian clinic. She had a high fever and a high white cell count. The veterinarian thought it was viral. He didn’t have much hope because viruses in cats are usually deadly and it would have taken a lot of analisis and exams to find out. I went back home and immediately sent a mail to Laila who answered right away and said she would help her. Two days later she was walking and eating again. For 3 weeks she slept alot and was a bit weak but now she is perfectly fine and in great shape! I am so happy, thank you Laila and the spirit doctors!

LITTLE: CANCER HIND LEG
Hi Laila. Just wanted to let you know how well Little is doing. The swelling in her leg has gone down so that it is normal size. And she is walking much more easily — just with a little bit of a hitch.
The best news in the last few days her appetite (and consumption) is much better than it has been for years. Also another mouse brought in tonight to be eaten under the table. (Sorry for the mousie — but happy for Little.)
So many many thanks from us both!
Love,
~ Ellen

SALOME: A CAT WITH KIDNEY FAILURE THAT WAS GOING TO BE EUTHANIZED
The news is good concerning Salome. She is not throwing up as often as before; she is affectionate, she is hunting again, has gained weight, goes to the litter box normally, eats well, and has a lot of energy.
Thanks a lot.

PEPSY
Pepsy is now eating again. Last weekend I could really see the difference between the way Pepsy is now and the way she used to be. At the beginning of January (before she got sick) she was always tired. Also, I have never seen her so playful. When I opened the door to the cellar, she was up on the first floor and she came down so fast that she got to the cellar before me. So she went down two staircases in the time it took me to go down one. Since you intervened she is so much better, much much better!
