IthaqueITHAQUE: TENDONITIS TENDON FLEXOR FRONT LEFT. PROGNOSIS RESERVED

It is with great joy that I announce the wonderful news: Ithaque is healed! I just returned from the clinic!
Ithaca is not limping anymore. The ultrasound shows no more damage only a few fibers that make the tendon larger. In principle, Ithaque can walk 2x 20 min for 10 days, then he can get to trot quarter of an hour for 4 weeks, then he will gallop 5 minutes. We need to return on July 15th for the  ultrasound. The vet says it is a 90% healing today.
I am so happy, I do not know how to thank you.
With hugs,

PepitoPEPITO: ULCERS AND COLIC

Pepito is doing well, even very well!
These days there has been a lot of changes that would normally have triggered a colic. This time it didn’t happen!

He again changed meadow, he was separated from his friend, was isolated during the time of his castration… He has now found another friend and he is in great shape! His coat is beautifully shiny and  he has nerves of steel! He is more open to me and me to him…
Thank you so much.

MadonACTION DU MADON: POISONING
I found my 25 year old mare extended full length in the meadow, her eyes rolling, with very tense and stiff legs like an epileptic seizure. I panicked, I thought she is dying… I called the vet, but he was busy on a caesarean section and could only come in 3 hours… I knew that it would be too late. Action had badly and violently struck her head on the ground during the seizure. I could only think only of one thing: find someone to euthanize her so that her suffering would cease.
Then I called Laila who was our only hope! And then, after a quarter of an hour of help from Laila, a miracle occured: Action managed to recover slowly and seems to calm down. Little by little she began to walk slowly, she seemed relieved.
The vet finally arrived after 3 hours in order to end her suffering, but he noted that the mare was better: her heart tempo that I had taken during the crisis had increased from 145 to 80/mn.
He examined her and did a blood test as her mucous membranes were yellow: the liver had severely been affected. His prognosis was very bad and he said that there was no hope for Action. I did not agree with him because I saw the mare had stood up after such a violent seizure and I knew she was going to fight to live… I also knew that Laila was fighting for her and I trusted this. I took Action to the clinic and the verdict was: poisoning. Again, I was told that there was little hope: the poisoning caused liver encéphalos and at the age of 25, it would be very difficult to recover. I insisted that we take Action over to the clinic and she refused transfusions continuously for 3 days and 3 nights to help eliminate the toxins in her body.
Laila continued to treat her on her side all the time and, on the first night in the clinic, the mare was able to eat with appetite. I knew then that the battle was won!
After 5 days of hospitalization, Action returned home in great shape. After a month, she was able to return to her frolics beside her buddy Roller.
Action and Roller and I again thank you 1000 times for what you have done for us… Thank you for existing, thank you for being so devoted to animals.
From the heart…
~ Sonia
